Italian Army received next batch of VTLM 2 NEC Lince 2

82nd Infantry Regiment "Torino", Italian Army received next batch of VTLM 2 NEC Lince 2 multipurpose armored vehicles. the latest vehicles arrived from the IVECO Defence and these LMVs have NEC (Network-Enabled Capability);

The Lince-2 was unveiled in Eurosatory 2016. It weighs over 8,100 kg with an enhanced suspension system, ensuring the comfort of the passengers and drivers utilizing the vehicle.

The vehicle has now automatic drivetrain management, tire central inflation system, and electronic stability program. The engine as well is turbocharged with diesel, creating 220hp with an 8-speed automatic transmission with torque converter and 2-ration transfer case which is permanent.

Its ‘standard’ road speed is 90 km/hr but with the ‘battle switch’, it can run up to 110 km/hr.

The crew protection have also been improved. The V-shape hul of the vehicle and the suspended seats are just two of numerous features that are added in the latest model.

Uzbekistan Displays New Military Vehicles

Uzbekistan’s defense industry recently showed off new military vehicles entering production.

During President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s visit to the Academy of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan on January 12, the president was shown several products produced by the Uzbek defense industry, including an armored vehicle named Qalqon (“Shield”), manufactured by Krantas Group. Three tactical vehicles were on display as well.

The tactical vehicles were based on the GAZ-3308 Sadko chassis. One had a manned combat station with a machine gun, while the other two did not. The Qalqon (possible based on Isuzu 4x4) armored vehicle did not have a combat station.

Under President Mirziyoyev, Uzbekistan has worked to re-arm its military with modern equipment, some of which is being supplied locally as a result of partnerships with international firms. Uzbekistan last year launched production of the Tarlon, whose design is based on the Turkish-made Ejder Yalcin.

As part of the first phase of the plant’s operation, Uzbekistan will ramp up production of the Tarlon and Qalqon vehicles, with a goal of eventually being able to manufacture 100 per year, The Tashkent Times reported. The second phase will see the facility manufacture trucks for civilian purposes.

New Dongfeng Mengshi-III vehicles for PLA border troops

People's Liberation Army (PLA) high-altitude troops in Tibet have been received the large numbers of Mengshi-III off-road tactical armored vehicles, manufactured by Dongfeng.

 

Compared to previous in-service two generations vehicles, the new vehicle likely features technology allowing it to operate during more complicated battlefield situations and will have a longer service life, is larger, more heavily armored and equipped with a more powerful engine that gives it higher mobility even when operation in plateau regions.

"Strela" armoured amphibious vehicle

Russian Military Industrial Company (Aka VPK) showed the "Strela" armoured amphibious vehicle. Unlike the base vehicle, the new version have hull, which is adopted to amphibious purpose. The company will officially present the vehicle at the Army-2020 exhibition.

Chinese Airborne troops unveils the new modication of the light 4x4 armoured vehicle CS/VN3. The CS/VN3 is a light armoured infantry fighting vehicle with high maneuverability which can be easily transported by military transport aircrafts as the new Y9 and Y20.

The CS/VN3 is a new type of armoured vehicle especially designed to be used for rapid deployment and for emergency operations. The CS/VN3C can perform a full range of missions as reconnaissance, urban warfare or troop’s carrier.

The engine and the transmission are located at the front of the vehicle. The vehicle is fitted with an independent suspension and bracket with double horizontal arms. The driver is seated at the front left side and the commander at its right. One single door is available on each side of the hull and one more at the rear.

A unmanned turret is mounted at the top center of the hull which is armed with a 30mm cannon and a 5.8mm coaxial machine. A range of three smoke grenade dischargers are mounted on each side of the turret. The vehicle can be also armed with anti-tank guided missile red Arrow 73C.

The CS/VN3 can carry a total of 7 soldiers including driver, gunner, commander and 4 troops. The vehicle is fully amphibious after two minutes of preparation and is propelled in the water by two propellers mounted at the rear of the hull.

Ukrainian army gets armored vehicle Kozak-2M1

The Kozak-2M1, an armored vehicle developed and being mass-produced by Kyiv-based NPO Practika, has been added to the arsenal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

"This was preceded by successful state trials of the armored vehicle, which lasted from October 2018 to December 2019. During these trials, they thoroughly tested the vehicle's running and performance specifications," the report said.

It notes that the Kozak-2M1 complies with NATO's STANAG 4569 Level 2 for protection against small arms and Level 3A for mine protection. To increase crew safety, the armored vehicle is equipped with anti-mine seats and a multi-layer floor.

The Kozak-2 armoured combat vehicle features a roof hatch with a ring mount for the installation of 7.62mm and 12.7mm calibre machine guns, or 30mm / 40mm automatic grenade launchers.  The crew includes eight people.

The vehicle has a length of 6.44m, width of 2.5m, height of 2.65m, wheel base of 3.24m and gross vehicle weight of 15,000kg.

The vehicle is powered by Iveco Tector six-cylinder, 6l turbo engine, coupled to a ZF, six-speed manual gearbox. The engine produces an output power of 279hp and generates a maximum torque of 950nm at 1,250rpm-2,100rpm.

A servoshift system fitted to the gearbox to facilitate easy gear-changing. A two-speed torque transfer box / reducer provides better traction to both the front and rear axles. The propulsion system offers increased off-road mobility.

The vehicle is also fitted with parking sensors, 365/80 R20 wheels and anti-lock braking system (ABS).

The Kozak-2 has a road speed of 120km/h and a cruising range of 1,000km. Its approach and departure angles are 50° and 45° respectively. It has a fording depth of 1.4m and a ground clearance of 392mm, and can climb obstacles up to 35°.

აფეთქებული რუსული ჯავშანმანქანა "Рись" (იგივე Iveco LMV). მანქანას რუსი ეკიპაჟი მართავდა, რუსების თანახმად ყველა უვნებლად გადარჩა. შემთხვევას ადგილი 2015 ან 2016 წელს ჰქონდა - მანქანა თვითონ ასადიატების მიერ დადებულ ნაღმზე აფეთქდა.

 

Jaguar EBRC - ფრნგული არმიის ახალი თაობის ჯავშანმანქანა

გამოფენა Eurosatory 2018-ზე, ფრანგულმა მხარემ, 6x6 სავალი ფორმულის მქონდე ჯავშანმანქანა Jaguar EBRC წარმოადგინა. მანქანა საფრანგეთის სახმელეთო ძალების პროგრამა EBMR Scorpion-ის (Engin Blindé Multi-Rôles - მრავალფუნქციური ჯავშან მანქანა) ფარგლებში, სადაზვერვო და საბრძოლო მანქანის დანიშნულებით შეიქმნა.

ფრანგული არმია, პროგრაა Scorpion-ის (Synergie du contact renforcée par la polyvalence et l'infovalorisation) საშუალებით, შეიარაღებულ ძალებში მყოფი რამოდენიმე სახეობის ჯავშამნაქანის ერთდროლად ჩანაცვლებას და მათ ბრძოლის ველის უნიფიცირებულ საინფორმაციო მართვის სისტემაში გაერთიანებას გეგმავს.

გეგმების მიხედვით, პროგრამა, 2020 წელს უნდა ჩაეშვას. ფრანგული არმიისთვის სულ 248 ცალ Jaguar EBRC 6х6 მიწოდება იგეგმება. პირველი 110 მანქანა 2025 წლამდე უნდა იქნას მიწოდებული. მათ  AMX10RC, ERC-90 Sagaie და VAB Hot ტიპის ჯავშანმანქანები უნდა ჩაანაცვლონ.

საკმაოდ დიდ ინტერესს იწვევს ჯავშანმანქანაის დაცვის დონე, რომელიც  STANAG 4569 Level 4 კატეგორიისა და უზრუნველყოფს 14,5 მილიმეტრი ტყვიებისგან, 30 მეტრიდან 155 მილიმეტრიანი საარტილერიო ჭურვების ნამსხვრევებისგან და საბურავების ქვეშ 10 კილო TNT-ს აფეთქებსიგან დაცვას უზრუნველყოფს.
