The new Serbian M19 6,5/7,62 mm modular assault rifle have entrance in service with Serbian Army. In the end of the 2020 Army will close the delivery contract big batch of M19 rifle.The serbian army is expected to be use 6,5mm rifles.

The modular gun supports both 7,62 mm and 6,5 mm barrel bores, depending on the mission requirements. The new weapon’s modularity would help ease the logistical burden as the new 6,5 mm ammunition is not as widely used around the world.

The rifle, which has a range of up to 800 meters, is expected to be fielded by all Serbian Army infantry units by the end of the year.

Another feature of the weapon is a relatively quick change of the muzzle length for different tactical purposes.
