Yesterday IED struck to the Joint Russian-Turkish patrols in Idlib, Syria.  One Russian BTR-82 was damaged. Information about victims are missing.

Russia has developed the latest Mars-2000 reconnaissance combat vehicle based on the BTR-82 armored personnel carrier. The vehicle participate on victory day parade in Tula.

9M337 Sosna-R on Different Chassis

In Russia working on self-propelled short-range anti-aircraft missile system Sosna on the BTR-82' chassis.

The 9M337 Sosna-R (Pine) (SA-24) is a Russian radar and laser-guided supersonic (Mach 4) two-stage missile. It is used in Sosna-R short range air defense missile system designed to protect military units from air attacks in all types of combat situations, including during march.

მანქანაზე ახალი, დისტანციურად მართვადი საბრძოლო მოდული აყენია – ძირითად შეიარაღებას БТР-82-ზე უკივე შეჩვეული 2А72–ის ნაცვლად 2А42წარმოადგენს, კვება ორმხრივია, ასევე ქვემეხის მარჯვნივ აყენია უცნობი მოწყობილობა, რომელიც სავარაუდოდ 30მმ–ნი ჭურვების პროგრამატორია.
