Hellenic Armed Forces Live Fire exercise "Sea Griffin 1/12"

On May 31, 2012 held in Crete, Field Firing Exercise "Sea Griffin 1/12", during which executed successfully, the following firing guided missiles, High Risk scenarios MM-38 EXOCET from LASKOS FAC vs. floating target.

• NSSM from Frigate KOUNTOURIOTIS to contain the projectile above MM-38 EXOCET.

• Two PENGUIN from XENOS FAC vs. floating target.

• AM39Mk2 EXOCET AM by aircraft Mirage2000 against floating target.

• Two AGM 114 K1 HELLFIRE from two helicopters AH-64DHA LONGBOW (APACHE) vs. floating target.

• In addition, the Frigate KOUNTOURIOTIS and the FAC XENOS and NTEGIANNIS executed gun shots against floating target.

The target was the Gunboat "Doksa" ( Τhetis Klasse 42)
