ამურის კომსომოლეცთან ჩამოვარდნილი Су-57-ის საინტერესო დეტალი - 2012 წელს მიახლოებით იმავე რაიონში ჩამოვარდა Су-30МК2, და ყველაზე საინტერეოს ისაა, რომ ორივე ჩამოვარდნილ ბორტს, Су-30МК2-სა და Су-57-ს, ერთი და იგივე პილოტი მართავდა.

ხაბაროვსკში Су-57 ჩამოვარდა

ხაბაროვსკის მხარეში, კომსომოლსკი ნა ამურის მახლობლად რუსეთის მე-5 თაობის გამანადგურებელმა Т-50-მა (Су-57) კატასტროფა განიცადა, მანქანა არაა სამხედრო, ის მწარმოებელ ქარხანას ეკუთვნის. მფრინავმა კატაპულტირება მოახერხა, მისი ევაკუაცია Ми-8 ტიპის ვერტმფრენით განხორციელდა.

გავრცელებული ინფორმაციის თანახმად, ავიაკატასტროფა აეროდრომ "დზემგიდან" 120 კილომეტრში მოხდა. ინცინდენტი ძრავების გამოცდის დროს მოხდა, სპეციალისტებმა უკვე დაიწყეს შავი ყუთის ძებნა.

The new photos of the Slammer - 155mm SPH form Israel

The new photos of the Slammer (Sholef) 155mm self-propelled howitzer variant of the Merkava with automatic loading system. The gun has a range of 40+ km with ERFB-BB. Two prototypes appeared in 1984 and 1986 but didn't entered production.

The Slammer is a heavily armored artillery gun mounted on a modified Merkava Mk 1 chassis. Many of these vehicles are Merkava Mk 1 that were retired after the Merkava Mk 2 and Merkava Mk 3 came into service. The Slammer has a long 52-caliber gun barrel that allows +10% range. Reload speed may be decreased to 1 for one minute every 10 minutes through use of an automatic loader. Ammunition racks are large. The Slammer is ready for autonomous operation (without an FDC) if the target's location is known within 15 seconds of a halt, using GPS, inertial navigation, and an internal fire control computer. The Slammer is also capable of direct fire on the move.

Russia has delivered Tor-M2KM surface-to-air missile systems to Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in a Facebook post on Saturday, December 12.

Pashinyan shared a picture on social media and revealed that the systems were produced in 2019.

The Prime Minister, however, could not reveal exactly how many Tor systems had been delivered due to military secrecy.

Indian Army acquires Spike LR ATGMs

India has procured the Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Spike LR (long-range) anti-tank guided-missile (ATGM) system to meet Indian Army (IA) operational requirements.

Indian Minister of State for Defence Shripad Naik told parliament on 11 December that the Israeli-made, man-portable, fourth-generation system, which can engage targets in ‘fire-and-forget’ and ‘fire-observe-and-update’ modes, will “enhance operational flexibility and crew survivability”.

Naik did not specify the number of ATGMs procured or provide any details regarding the delivery schedule or contract value, but official sources told Jane’s on 16 December that the deal included the import of 260 Spike LR missiles and 12 launchers.

They were purchased under the newly enhanced financial powers of India’s Vice Chiefs of Staff that permit them to acquire goods and materiel worth INR5 billion (USD70 million) without prior Ministry of Defence (MoD) approval to meet “urgent operational requirements”.

Montenegro among the first NATO allies to receive JLTV

The defense arm of specialty truckmaker Oshkosh Corp has confirmed that Montenegro among the first NATO allies will receive newest Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTVs).

Oshkosh Defense, announced Wednesday that the U.S. Army Contracting Command – Warren has placed an $803.9 million order for 2,721 Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTVs). Additional orders from the U.S. Army Contracting Command are anticipated within this fiscal year.

This order includes JLTVs for the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Navy. It also includes vehicles for the country of Montenegro via Foreign Military Sale (FMS).

“Today’s order also includes 30 JLTVs for the country of Montenegro, among the first NATO allies to receive the vehicle,” said in a news release.

In October, Breaking Defensereported that the U.S. appears to be finalized an agreement with Montenegro to sell them dozens of brand-new Joint Light Tactical Vehicles.

In addition, the official Twitter account of Israel’s Ministry of Defense has reported that the IMoD International Defense Cooperation Directorate (SIBAT) has signed an agreement with the Montenegro Ministry of Defense. The G-to-G agreement awards Elbit Systems Ltd a contract for the acquisition of Remote Controlled Weapon Station (RCWS) which will be integrated into the U.S. manufactured JLTVs.

Elbit Systems will perform full integration of the 12.7mm RCWS onboard the new JLTVs over a three-year period and will provide logistic support for a seven-year period.
